Rush is a racist and a bigot, he have shown that over the years, that is the reason he got fired from ESPN, that was the reason he was fried from T.V., this man have shown his disdain for the black race, and all of those who listen to his show knows what he is and who he is, a drug addict and a racist, instead of trying to pull the country together he and the republican are trying to destroy the country, those who sponsor his show should stop and think, sooner or later the public will stop buying their products.

Bin Laden want have to attack the UNITED STATES because the right wing radio talk will do that for him, they have so much hate for the president that they are willing to destroy the country with a smile and a smirk, this country have come a long way since the sixty and the young people don't believe all the lies that were told to them by their parents.

Isn't he starting to skirt treason? Maybe not crossed the line yet but he's getting close. Openly saying the military should oust the sitting president?

I listen to Rush every day. He is brilliant and one of few who has the gonads to challenge democratic domination. He's right on, but ya'll need to listen a little more. He has NOTHING to do with the GOP, doesn't even like the GOP because they are far too liberal. He will never hold political office. Many of the lefties hate anyone with a dissenting opinion.

We do our best to elect someone reasonable, who exibits a desire to care for our children and health and welfare, and the war mongers lose their minds. As much as i would like to shrug rush off, living in the south, I see his die hard, gun toting bible thumpers everywhere.

Can one person please direct to me where a Democrat and/or talk show host, etc, while under Bush, openly promoted or wished for his policies to fail, hoped for a terrorist attack, or suggest a coup of a sitting President.

Hi, Teresa. Boy what a can of worms! I don't listen to Rush, ever. I DO read what he says here on the Vine. This man has, obviously, slipped a cog. It DOES sound as though he is encouraging a military coup. Harm to the President, and fall of this Great Nation. A Nation, that I, (a Liberal) served many years in the Marines to defend. Some of that time in a very un-popular war called Viet Nam. A time, I might add, when this nation was nearly torn apart.

I'm always disappointed when the candidate I vote for isn't elected. But, I always support the Country. My loyalty has never swayed. When Bush announced his plan to go to Afghanistan, I was over-joyed. I hate war, but, this action was justified. But, then, all of a sudden, Iraq was to be the target. My heart sank. After that the fear tactics employed to do an end-run on our rights put fear into me. I saw a man who felt he was ordained to do as he pleased with his realm. For the good of his subjects.

I read in one of the comments that the Liberals wouldn't fight. I must disagree. Nearly all of the men I, proudly, fought with were and are still liberals. We are a tolerant bunch, we Liberals. We believe all have the same rights. Regardless of color, education, pedigree, and luck. We don't cotton to stacking the deck to get things our way or to keep things our way.

I'm not happy with much going on in Washington. Never have been. But it is the system we have. There were many questions in regards to the elections that put Bush into office. This recent election left no doubt as to the true wish of the people. We may not get all we were promised. But, to blame it on one man is rediculous. I see Obama doing a lot. Only 10% of the stimulus money has been spent. It was designed as a two year plan. I can hold out and see what happens.

I don't see a coup in our future. There are far too many sane thinking, loyal Americans in this Country to allow anything of the sort. But, I DO believe that the Limbaugh's comments need to be addressed. Not just by we, the little people. But by someone of authority. A republican would be nice. We already know it won't be Steele. He knuckled under pressure early on.

I know I'm rambling. I'm not very computer literate, so I don't cut and paste. But, many of the comments here were so irresponsible. Do these right wing folks really believe a coup in this country would regain them their former position? I think not. Rush would be no more. (I do feel Rush may see himself as the "New" father of our Country") Sitting in his little radio booth, dreaming of the perfect coup, where the insurrectionists come to him and bestow the power he feels he so deserves. The man would be hiding behind his mommy's skirt.

Since the recent election, I have read, thousands of articles, blogs, posts, comments from the right, claiming we are socialist. Nazis, Communists, Marxists etc. I have heard nothing but complaints as to how the President is handling today's problems. I have not read one alternative solution. Not one idea. Not one clue from the right as to their idea of which way we should go. Obama has, many times, stated he wishes for ALL to join him in solving these problems. But, all I see is the right saying no. Whining, Sobbing.

All I can say is Rush will never get a coup to occur. But, he may push that one weak-minded zealot over the edge to do something this country doesn't need. Of course, Rush would never own up to it being his doing. The man is a menace. He is a tragedy waiting to happen. It is the responsibility of the republican party to put a muzzle on this cur. He abuses the very rights I and many before and after me have fought, killed and died.

Sorry this is so long and scrambled. I don't draft any of this. Just start typing. Bottom line is I took an oath when I joined the Marines in '69. I still live by that oath. No coup is happening without a fight. In print, or in the street. It just ain't gonna happen.

I sit and read all the liberals bashing of Rush and Fox News and I can only laugh. Rush has one of the top rated radio shows (fact). Fox News has the #1 rated news network (fact). MSNBC and all the other NBC networks rate near the bottom (fact). The reason for that is they never tell both sides of the story. They are never critical of some of the things Obama and his administration are doing to this country. How many campaign promises has Obama broken so far ? Quite a few ! And he is not being held accountable for it on these networks. Only Fox points it out. Our country is under a government take over. Obama and his administration have thrown the constitution out the window. Liberals want something for nothing. And the cap and trade will have far more reaching costs and impact than what they are telling us. Get ready for smog checks on your vehicles every two years. And if they fail the smog check, you will have to spend thousands of dollars to get a smog system put in your vehicle. Replacing your gas heaters in your homes. Commercial building owners that have boilers for heating that use gas or diesel for fuel. It will wipe out the coal miner industry and cost alot more jobs than it can ever create. America better wake up. Their health care idea has alot of explaining to do. It will not cover any weight loss or cosmetic surgeries. And if you are considered to old or your health is determined to be so bad that the costs are not justified, well, to bad. There is a reason that Canadians and British citizens came to this country for treatments. They could not get it where they were from. Once our so called government plan gets put in place, it is a matter of time before the private industry starts falling apart. That will lead to more uninsured and less coverage by the government plan.

At least when we watch Fox and listen to Rush, Hannity and the others, we find out what's really going on in the world today. Every time I pass through Madcow or Oldman, they're still talking about how they're going to get Bush, Cheney sent to prison for the waterboarding episode.

I don't like my news sugar coated with information about what Michelle wore today, or the stupid jokes that Obama cracks at our expense. Nothing about the world to day is funny and it's only getting worse.

Whatever happened to the news about the Iran election protestors? Haven't heard about that all week, due to Michael Jackson passing. Obama was quick to talk about Michael during his press conference, but said nothing about the fraud of an election in Iran. Now we have N. Korea getting ready to fire off more missles - haven't heard a word except for how we've got to pass healthcare reform and cap and tax bills NOW. Yea, has the stimulus worked for you yet?

This president is a fraud. If he were white and a republican, I would be saying and feeling the same thing. I don't care what party you are from, this government is ruining America and they all need to be voted out while we have a chance to save whatever is left.

If they are voted back and times get worse, you only have yourselves to blame - not Bush, not Obama, no one but the people who vote for them. Remember that when you're out of a job, have no home, your kids are hungry and you have government healthcare and your husband, wife or child is dying because they can't get treated fast enough.

If Obama and his administration would just hold off on these special interests of theirs and let the economy heal first, we'd be more supportive of him. But, to cram all this down our throats on a daily basis, is way too much to handle.

Our top priority right now should be our safety because we have nutjobs all over the world who want to kill us. Unfortunately, Obama is making healthcare and cap and tax the top priority.

Free Iran! yells a small inconsequential "voice". Thousands upon thousands of small insignificant "voices" are screaming their righteous indignation at their hardline dictators that run their country. They use their small "voice" in the hope that larger "voices" of more consequence will join them. "Voices" like the USA. But the USA seems to have lost its "voice", our leaders have larengitis when it comes to this issue. That is a sad truth. When did the USA decide to let other country's lead the free world, countries like the UK, and the entire EU have taken a stand against Iran, even small African countries have said enough is enough. Sadly the US has no "voice" on this issue. Why do I think it is so important to have a "voice" on this issue? First and selfishly, because if we helped to free Iran then it would be the largest blow to date against terrorism. Iran's hardline muslim clerics are the real leaders of the enemy that wants to destroy us. They use their countries oil money to fund Hamas, Hezzbollah, and even Al Queida! Where do you think they get the money for guns and bombs to kill us? All those attacks in Iraq...thats Iran. When Iran is free and friendly to the US all that stops! Second, we are Americans we have always had a "voice", ours has always been loudest in the pursuit of freedom and happiness. Other people find their "voice" because of us. I think God intended it to be that way. Finnally I say Remember Neda!! Remember a beautiful young girl who found her "voice" and was murdered for it! She was murdered by her own government for finding her "voice". The sad irony here, is that in Farsi Neda means "voice". So I call on the people of America to be Americans, and find your "voice". Find your "voice" and write your congressman write the news media; flood them with so many "voices" that the cacophony of sound overwhelms them and drives them to action. This is nothing new. Limbaugh and all the GOP Conservatives have used and will use anything they can to get Barak Obama out of the White-House! Yet, they don't have anything substantive to offer the American people, other than their constant: (No, I will not cooperate, attitude, or they hold a lock on family values) !

And the Healthcare issue is another point that the GOP doesn't have anything to help anyone with. Yet, they jump on Obama if he sneezes or swat a fly! They are really pathetic !

This President is leading the US into socialism, and I for one do not want to be a socialist. What happened to his statement that he wants transparentcy, all he has done so far is eliminate the Republicans from voicing their concerns and ideas, and this Congress is shoving all this socialist stuff down our throats and passing it all without any input from the tax payers.
