After Calling Hillary Clinton a Whiner, Palin Blasts Media's "Different Standard"

Palin made it clearto moderator Karen Breslau of Newsweek that she considered Clinton's conduct unbecoming. Hillary, she insisted, needed to just "plow through":

The republicans forget that what they say is in print or on tape some where but they continue to do is tell the public what they think they want to here and forget about what they have said, lies and spin is the republicans game.

That's what I like about MSNBC. They will show a video of a republican saying something. Then show another of him saying he didn't say it. It happens all the time. If the republicans would watch MSNBC, they, probably, could learn how to better deceive their base. First, by not allowing cameras to ever record what they say.

As for Palin....I just don't know what this woman is up to. She MAY be going off the deep end. But, to quit her post with so much time left of her term is unfair to those who elected her. Even a lame duck can do some good for their State. My gut instinct is that Fox, or a radio station, has offered her some serious money to anchor her own program. More of the same, ala Rush. Perhaps not so militant. But just as mindless.

Hillary Clinton swallowed her "pride" and stood by her man.........whatever.

Anybody who could not see that Palin was torn to shreds by the media is completely blind. She was a huge threat and the media had to take her out.

What I love most is while they destroyed Palin, Obama was given royal treatment. Nothing Obama did was ever questioned. Biden who BY FAR is the biggest idiot was never torn to shreds for his amazingly large number of stupid statements (telling a man in a wheel chair to stand up, for example... Not too bright).

Frankly, I view anybody who voted Obama as somebody who was snowballed. Change, ROFL, yep... 9 trillion dollars less in our pockets promised in just a few short months.

I so wish this woman would just go away. I can not stand her screechy voice and especially when it says nothing. She blames everyone for everything. During the campaign Obama never mentioned her name. She, on the other hand, stood up in front of her supporters to say he had "questionable associates", how he was bringing the country down, yadda, yadda, yadda. He had the press on him like white on rice. Rev Wright alone was on TV for 6 weeks. And of course how Obama was Muslin and not born in the US (Fox News, of course).

Sarah Palin got grief only from her own doing or her own false statements. She used that sweet little Trig to haul in votes for herself and now that she is a quitter is using him again in her resignation speech. She's a peace of work, alright.

I just realized WHY the way she speaks is so appealing to soccer moms: she talks in circles like a little kid.

Have you noticed that when she talks she sounds like a kid explaining how even though she was in the same room at the same time the livingroom wall got painted handprints on the walls and even though she has PAINT on HER hands, here are ALL the reasons you should believe I didn't do it. And around and around it goes, well, imagine you a MOMMY used to talking to kids all day, she sounds well, FAMILIAR. So add a better vocabulary (marginally) and a scriptwriter and all she is is the pre teen explainingWHY she was out past curfew, who then gets mad and flounces off, slamming the door (misdirection diffuses and delays the parents punishing you). This makes sense to the women who write in and say, she understands US, yeah, like your teenager who tells you, No Mom, I'm not having sex, and then comes up pregnant, (oh MAN, she's gonna sue me for talking about her child...).

So she does the "okey-doke" that thing of talking and talking and using50 words where 15 would do, and its all blarney, babble meant to FATIGUE your ear so that you only hear the stuff when she finally gets to a point and its usually something safe and BARELY relevant to the topic. The "okey-doke" comes in where you both KNOW she's B.S.ing but you collude to ignore it because its embarassing to see someone lie in your face in a way delusional way. Ask her about the student revolution in Iran, and she covers with a long preamble thanking every GOP who ever breathed, you the listener, have begun to get uncomfortable and squirm because she's obviously stalling and doesn't know the answer or have a cogent, coherent opinion. But by the time she finally gets to the question, you've long since tuned out the facts and are just relieved and pulling for her to know SOMETHING, and finish. So you applaud in relief and enthusiasm for her "accomplishment".
So her popularity amongst the Gymboree/Mommy and me set is understandable the maternal instinct comes out when she talks and I think they're just PROUD that she can stand in one place long enough to finish a sentence without fidgeting, messing up her hair and pulling her dress up. Its like listening to a child talk. Could you imagine her trying that with Putin? He's eat her alive, the Chinese would just walk thru our checkpoints in disrespect, the fight for equality in that country would be shut down, because the leader of the free world would be too concerned with other things to be of help.

Sarah Palin treated the world to one of the all time great ramblerants in American history now she wants to say there's a double standard? I listened to and rewatched that disaster of a resignation speach and I'm still trying to figure out what the hell she said. Alaskans and even her stauchest supporters are left scratching their heads over this. She can twist it and spin it anyway she wants - a viable run for the White House is out of the question.

You can't quit in the middle of difficulty and pressure in Alaska of all places - perhaps the easiest state in the nation to govern - and expect to be taken seriously on the national scene. When you have the audacity to call Obama a "domestic terrorist" and insinuate that he and others are not "real Americans" - you can expect that you are a target and prey for every and any reason. Slice it dice it anyway you want - Sarah Palin will never be president.

I'm sure the folks over at FOX would be more than happy to make her a regular ranting head - she's got the hate speach down to an artform. She'll write a book and make a few million. But the only way she's going to the White House between now and 2012 - is as a tourist!

Her problem is she can dish it out - but she can't take it. Sarah Palin just showed us how weak she really is. Good riddance!

She has been rudely awakened to the fact that not everyone takes her personality or evidence of an intellect well. She thought she was on a predestined (by god) path continually upward and had arrived at soon being president. Instead, outside her world of Alaska, an insular, not very diverse place, it was shown that she "couldn't hit the curve ball".

The big leagues were heady, but she got sent to back to the minors. Her response? Not to "work on her game", but to quit. She misses the fact that her biggest problem was not that "folksy" personality, but a nakedly embarassing lack of experience, and quitting will not get her any more experience.

She thinks that she really has as much going for her as Obama. So writing a book (as he did) and beginning a campaign very early (as he did) and being a media personality well before the run began (as he did) will get it done.

The problem with this? She's no Obama. She's whiny, undereducated, lame and a rank phony, unlike what the media (for the sake of conceding something about any good points she might possibly have), has projected about her of being genuine.

You people are out of you minds. There is a BIG difference between whinning (which Democrates do all the time) and pointing out the obvious that is that the media does NOT report both sides fairly. It's one sided and when a Republican points it out they're made to look like the bad guy. Instead of blasting Palin for what she is saying..prove her wrong. Ohh that's right you can't. I guess I can't expect much from people who say that she has no experience but in turn elect a President who's greatest accomplishments as a Senator was to vote "Present" more often than I care to remember and the most impressive entry on his resume was "Community Organizer" - GIVE ME A BREAK !!!

Maybe she's going into training to be the female incarnation of Pitbull Cheney.

Hmmmmm, Palin, I don't remember Hillary EVER quitting! Even when for YEARS she was accused of everything under the sun by your beloved conservatives.....of being a murderer, of being a lesbian, of causing/creating all sorts of problems, I am surprised that even hurricane Katrina was not blamed on her!

You have only caught a SMALL FRACTION of the crap Hillary put up with for her 8 years in the white house with investigations (travelgate, whitewater gate, MONICA gate etc) against her, and all the flack she took running for the senate, which she from all accounts served her state very well, and she DID NOT QUIT WILLY NILLY!! Heck, she was even accused of showing 'too much cleavage' by none other than some of the FOX news faux bleached blonde anchors who have skirts up to their behinds and their tops cut down to their navels and then they still find time to lean forward for the cameras all the while professing a "christian" modesty for themselves!

Heck, Hillary even refused to quit when her own party turned against her last year, prefering to support Obama who they could control better! She stayed until the end or have you forgotten that, how she refused to give up despite calls for her to quit hourly??

You have blown it!! Plain and simple, and if the republicans pick you to run in 2012, then we might as well crown Obama now and save the country the time, effort and money the campaign will take.
